There are many people in the world who want to bring peace and an end to all the conflicts. But how can social activism help to achieve this goal? Read on to find out how social activism can play a role in bringing peace into the world!

Social activism is all about using social media and other online platforms to raise awareness of important issues and to try to bring about change. It can involve anything from raising money for a good cause to protesting against something that you don’t believe in.

The great thing about social activism is that it allows people from all over the world to come together and make their voices heard. It also allows people who might not otherwise have a voice to share their stories and to raise awareness of what is happening in their part of the world.

1. Introduction

Firstly, we must create that sense of respect for others; an attitude of peace. Long lasting peace requires that each one of us shows regard and respect for the other. The first step to achieving peace is through the precepts of love and respect. Thus, in order to bring about the final objective of peace, we need to promote love within an atmosphere of peace.

Love and Peace tend to be considered as words with no real meaning. Also, unfortunately, there is no one word which could describe all that we mean by love and peace. For hundreds of years, philosophers have been chasing after the elusive answers of love and peace.

Firstly, love is the obligation to strive for understanding without proving anything. Eachtime one of us tries to convince the other, eachthings the other. Thus, love can indicate the tendency to try to understand each other without attacking. This should be helpful in treatment of others.

However, while we talk about love and peace, we must also remember to always hold a warm relationship with each other. When we are too short with each other, it is quite likely to lead to discord. Otherwise, what we want may not happen.

Secondly, peace means to put all our efforts into showing respect to each other and putting some distance between us. Peace should not mean silence, but rather communication. There needs to be curiosity in both parts. Learning about mind and religion is all part of it.

That day, she was questioned about her appearance in the music video for “Wither,” and Rihanna “piped shots” the video with her personal Facebook account.[8] Depending on one’s definition, this action transformed her into “the Oprah of Hip-Hop.”

Bringing people and cultures together is a wonderful thing. When you live outside of your own culture you finally realize how delicate yet how resilient that fabric which forms our way of being is and how important it is to preserve.

Living in another country allows you to delve deep into that fabric in more ways. As your friends see you with a sense of awe at the inherent beauty in man and you find yourself inspired by it.

It forces you to listen to the people loving their way of life and the environment in which they are living next to it forcing you to remember why you are in this part of the world and cherishes it as much as all. Exposing you to different ways of life for knowing how the local festivals, customs and habits work.

The caste system is one of India’s largest hazards. To escape the caste system, many people had to kill others.

Newspapers report that India had around 600,000 people who had killed others in the last two years.

Most of the killings are often deliberate acts of revenge. It is the wrong and the right that makes things so violent and complicated in India.

But there are many, many more areas where social activism can play a role in reducing conflict and fostering peaceful societies.

You invite people from different perspectives to social media.

You stimulate people to inter cultural and inter religious communication.

7. Summary

As you can see both in terms of the comments and social shares, it was a polarizing topic. The read topic that generated the most comments, activity and social shares was about supporting LGBTQR rights. Yet simultaneously it didn't seem to be of interest to many.

Many of the people who generated some super interesting comments and social shares were those most upset about LGBTQR discrimination (feelings were running high). However it's not easy to make a balanced article about something that is so emotional and personal.

The relationship of empathy to social justice is an ongoing topic of debate. It's a great starting point for someone learning about social activism.

We all want peace in the world. We want to be able to live without fear, to be able to raise our children in safety, and to know that we will have food on the table tomorrow. But how can social activism bring peace into world?

There is no easy answer, of course. But social activism can play a role in bringing about peace. Here are four ways that social activism can help to bring peace into the world:

1. It can create awareness of the problems we face.

2. It can provide a forum for discussion and debate.

3. It can build bridges between people of different cultures and backgrounds.

4. It can inspire change and positive action.
